Ready to make a soon-to-be-married pair quite the lucky twosome, Kim Kardashian kicked off the Ultimate Engagement Ring Search For The World's Best Couple Contest in New York City on Monday (October 18).

Held at Brasserie Ruhlmann, the brunette beauty joined up with contest creator Michael Hill - as she was selected to model a stunning 22ct princess cut diamond engagement ring set in platinum to be awarded to the winning couple.

Tweeting about the day's plans, Kim excitedly wrote, "Heading to NYC launch of @michaelhill search for worlds best couple-can't wait to see that AMAZING 22CT diamond ring!"

Meanwhile, Mr Hill told Women's Day Australia of putting such a grand prize up for a winner's taking, “We want to inspire blokes to be more romantic. It’s all about rekindling the spirit of love." (Hollywood Gossip)
